“March On for Brain Injury” Walk
Join the March On for Brain Injury Walk sponsored by the Brain Injury Association of New York State (BIANYS). This Saturday, Sep 9 at Eisenhower Park – Scarlett Oak Picnic Area, Parking Lot 5, East Meadow, between noon and 1:30 pm. Registration 10:30 am.
HIA’s choir will perform at 11 am. To participate, join HIA’s Team at the link below! The cost is $30. All funds raised go to the BIANYS.

Effective immediately, OPWDD is no longer requiring that masks be universally worn in OPWDD certified or operated programs. This includes both residential and day program sites.
Please note, our health and safety measures remain in place, such as encouraging COVID testing to those with symptoms or exposure, cleaning and disinfecting protocols, excluding sick individuals from program, proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.
2022 Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament
Save the Date!
Head Injury Association will hold this year’s Golf Tournament on Monday July 18, 2022 at the Glen Oaks Club, in Old Westbury, NY. The tournament will be played on their world-class 27 hole golf course, home of the 2017 FedEx Cup.

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer enjoying time with friends and family. While many of us took a sigh of relief from the ongoing stresses of the COVID-19 pandemic, Head Injury Association continued its ongoing efforts to maintain the health and safety of all individuals served.
To reduce the spread and impact of COVID-19, we continue to follow guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), OPWDD, as well as, our local health department.
